Co rotating and counter rotating extruder

When we manufacture plastic products, we employ a machine called an extruder. An extruder molds and shapes plastic into a variety of products. Two types of extruder are commonly used: (+) Co-rotating extruders

Co-rotating extruders have two screws that rotate the same way. These screws act in concert to propel the auto loader plastic through the machine. We heat it up and make it into the product we desire. This is a typical extruder used to produce pipes, tubes, and sheets.

The Advantages of Counter-Rotating Extrusion Technology

Screws of such extruders are rotating in opposite directions. This die extruder facilitates better mixing of materials and more efficient processing of the plastic. Counterrotating extruders are (with respect to the sometimes generally known configuration) used particularly well for pellets, films, and coatings

Co-rotating and counter-rotating extruders are blast and boon. Co-rotating extruders are capable of producing a large quantity of rapidly extruded products, in a wide range of materials. But they may be more expensive to operate and maintain.
