Pvc rigid sheet extrusion line

There are many different things that industries use when they are going to use rigid PVC sheets for different things, though. They are formed in a process known as extrusion. During this operation the PVC raw materials are rendered molten and formed as flat sheets. The process is cost-effective and cost-saving, and therefore the most common for producing top-grade sheets.

It starts with raw materials, generally small pellets or granules. They are loaded into a machine, called an extruder. The PVC is melted down and processed by the extruder. Special ingredients are blended within the extruder with the paste material, while it is heated, so it is absorbed by it.

Discover the advantages of using this manufacturing method for producing high-quality sheets.

One of the main advantages of making the rigid PVC sheets through the extrusion process is that ISO 11663 extrusion machine to know how thick and how wide the sheets become. This allows the sheets to be tailored to a customer’s precise requirements. And since extrusion is a continuous process, many sheets can be made quickly.

It is useful in many applications, such as PVC tubes and rods and rigid sheets. In construction, the sheets are used for siding, roofing and wall panels because their strength allows them to last in the weather. In packaging, PVC sheets are employed to produce food wrapping film and food containers owing to their durability and easy forming.
